Recent news has made us aware how important elections for law enforcement and other local offices can be. Longtime York Sheriff Danny Diggs is stepping down to run against Monty Mason for state senate. Ron Montgomery, acting sheriff, will join us to talk about law enforcement issues and answer our questions. This is an important race, and we'll be inviting all the candidates to talk with us. Join us at headquarters for drinks and nibbles and a chance to celebrate all the amazing work we did together this year. We'll be both inside and outside, and (fingers crossed) the weather forecast looks promising -- the mid-50s with some sunshine. We are so grateful for your generosity and time this year. Thousands of postcards written, doorhangers hung, doors knocked and texts sent. Polls staffed with smiling volunteers for early voting and Election Day. The first billboards we've ever done. We have some tough challenges coming up next year as we try to hold the State Senate and retake the House of Delegates -- and we also know that, thanks to you, we'll put forth another amazing effort. But for now, let's party. We hope to see you there.
