Early voting begins for Nov. 2 election

Early voting begins Friday, Sept. 17 and continues through October 3o.  Voting is Monday through Friday, along with two Saturdays, Oct. 23 and Oct. 30.  Voters registered in James City County vote at the Vote Center, JCC Rec Center, 5301 Longhill Rd., Williamsburg 23188. Monday-Friday 8 am - 5 pm. Saturdays, Oct. 23 and Oct. 30 from 9 am-5 pm.  Voters registered in the City of Williamsburg vote at the Municipal Building, 401 Lafayette St., Williamsburg 23185. Monday-Friday plus two Saturdays, Oct. 23 and Oct. 30, from 8 am to 4:3o pm.

Caucus to organize Historic Triangle Democrats

Email us for info Join us next Thursday, Jan. 20, as we formally merge our two committees, the Williamsburg-James City County Democrats and the York-Poquoson Democratic Committee to become the Historic Triangle Democrats. The new name for our merged committee was recommended by an overwhelming 84 percent of our survey responders. We'll also be voting on new bylaws for our merged committee. The caucus is limited to members of our new merged committee (membership form here).  A presentation by Mary McGovern and other organizers of the new Historic Triangle chapter of Standing Up for Racial Justice beginning at 7 pm is open to the public, but non-members will be asked to leave when the presentation is concluded.
