This year we elect a Senator and members of the House of Representatives. Our Democratic nominee for Senate is Sen. Mark Warner, who was unopposed for the Democratic nomination.

After the Supreme Court of Virginia overturned the redistricting referendum, the entire Historic Triangle — James City and York counties and the cities of Williamsburg and Poquoson — is still in the First Congressional District (CD-1).

The primary election to select our Democratic candidate for CD-1 will be August 4, with early voting in the primary beginning Friday, June 19.
