Historic Triangle Dems will be marching in the Yorktown 4th of July Parade this year. Participants may park in the National Park Service Yorktown Battlefield Visitor Center parking lot and walk to the starting point, the picnic area at Yorktown Beach, where we'll gather at 8 am. State Sen. Monty Mason and Del. Mike Mullin will join us. Herb Jones will also be marching in the parade.

Longtime York Sheriff Danny Diggs is stepping down to run against Monty Mason for state senate. Ron Montgomery, acting sheriff, will join us to talk about law enforcement issues and answer our questions. This is an important race, and we'll be inviting all the candidates to talk with us.
