Join us next Thursday, Jan. 20, as we formally merge our two committees, the Williamsburg-James City County Democrats and the York-Poquoson Democratic Committee to become the Historic Triangle Democrats. The new name for our merged committee was recommended by an overwhelming 84 percent of our survey responders.
We’ll also be voting on new bylaws for our merged committee.
The caucus is limited to members of our new merged committee (membership form here). A presentation by Mary McGovern and other organizers of the new Historic Triangle chapter of Standing Up for Racial Justice beginning at 7 pm is open to the public, but non-members will be asked to leave when the presentation is concluded.
